Would you ask, please, about worldwide postage, specifically the UK for me, I’m certainly considering this upgrade , thank you

And I'd be interested on what upgrades can be done for the Burmester in a 992 and if there is a (highly) qualified shop familiar with Musicar to do that in my area. :)

I’ll get musicar to chime in next week. They are finishing a big release and still catching up. As far as prices are concerned, the normal prices are as follows for the 718 system. We can get more info for the other cars once musicar joins the chat. The level of discount Depends on the number of people interested.

Stage One — $679*
Estimated 1 Hour Professional Installation
Stage One Plus** — $995*
Estimated 3 Hours Professional Installation
Stage Two — $3,795*
Estimated 4-6 Hours of Professional Installation
Stage Three — $6,295*
Estimated 6-8 Hours of Professional Installation

The Bose tweeters are absolutely horrendous. From the people I’ve talked to that simple upgrade transforms the Bose stereo.

My friend who’s an audiophile looked at the Bose tweeters. He said they looked like 50 cent speakers.

I did the Stage 1 upgrade. On a 1-10 scale, the OEM Bose system was a 1-2. After the tweeter upgrade, I’d give it a 6-7, much better.

I find the Bose tweeters are downright painful at any decent volume.

I believe I was the first to receive the Morel MusiCar tweeter for my base audio system 718 . I placed a deposit with Nick and waited a year while they developed a mount (I am sure more was involved).

That aside, the Morel tweeter is a night and day improvement. Just perfect. I see no need to go further into Stage 2, given the proximity of the engine to my ears.

I am surprised folks with the Burmeister system are interested.

Burmester setups are good but I keep thinking they could be better. It may just be me - maybe I expect too much out of car audio, difficult with road, wind, drivetrain, and other traffic noises. Many of those can be quite loud.
