The one I got was the biggest one. They also have a copper/rose gold version.

Some smaller ones as well.

Hmmm, interesting site. No ownership or location info, and one has to wonder if they are licensed to sell all the various brands (of all kinds) they sell? :silent:
Given that they also sell pins that show micky mouse in "Adult 18+" positions, I highly doubt they are licensed to sell Porsche emblems

This is what he 'apparently' said: „Am Anfang sah ich mich um, konnte aber den Wagen, von dem ich träumte, nicht finden. Also beschloss ich, ihn mir selbst zu bauen.“

You can use google translate, it does a pretty good job.

My German is non-existent anymore (born there many light years ago and adopted), but I know the word "Wagen" and it has nothing to do with sports!

I guess long ago someone in the Porsche heirarchy decided using sportscar would be sexier and help sell more Porsches. Marketing.

"At first I looked around but couldn't find the car I dreamed of. So I decided to build it myself."

Now I know the rest of the story!

Regarding the certificates that Fasteddie99 had framed (viewtopic.php?t=2467#p26669), I was going through the paperwork for our 2019 Cayenne Turbo just now and found that we had been given one of the certificates when the SUV was purchased new 5-years ago. It's titled "Porsche Production Specifications" rather than "Certificate of Authenticity" as they were prior to 2017. (Probably some kind of legal butt-covering move.)

Anyway, it's the same heavyweight paper (60 or 70 lbs) linen-like, Euro-sized page with the same info as the older version COA's: model info, production completion date, optional equipment, VIN , engine code, color, etc.

However, I looked through everything for the '22 Turbo S and the '21 GT4 and no such certificate came with those cars. (I save that kind of stuff so I know we didn't receive them.) I guess Porsche wants owners to order them as I did for the TTS today. It will be interesting to see what comes in the packet from Porsche for $125. Just the PPS certificate or will there be more?

Very anxious for you to report back when it comes in! Thanks for getting all that info.

I'll let you know. It says up to 6-weeks before delivery but I imagine it will be here sooner than that.

The Porsche Production Specification (PPS) document arrived today, eleven days after ordering it online. Quick turnaround. It's basically identical to the earlier versions such as the ones that Fasteddie99 posted earlier on this thread, the difference being the re-titling of the doc from Certificate of Authenticity (COA) to Porsche Production Specification that occurred in 2017.

It's quite nice but is also something that would be a thoughtful touch if included with all new Porsche sales. (I should know better than to expect that. 🤣)

It came in a silver-colored folder with a cover letter. However, at $125 it's not exactly cheap, although considering everything else these days, it's probably priced about where expected. It serves a purpose for some and would certainly look great if properly framed, especially with the medallion as Fasteddie99 has done.

Thanks for the update! :) If you want the same metal crest that I started this thread with, its only like 20 bucks. I am def going to do what Fasteddie99 has done. I ordered my PPS couple days ago.

I agree, that would be a nice touch to include it in all new Porsche sales... At this point I am just happy they are putting air in the tires
