Adjusted the rear parking brakes on my car today. I used the Launch X431 tool to measure the gap, I was at just over 3mm. The spec is 2mm and each click of the adjuster is 0.15 mm so I moved each side 7 clicks. On the Driver side I nailed the adjustment the first time, on the passenger side I actually went the wrong way the first time so it took several rounds of adjust and check with the tool. Pretty east to do and a fun project. The parking brake adjuster is just like any other adjuster you may have used in the past on drum brakes. I also added a little spot of ceramic brake parks lube between the brake pad and the spring clip for good measure as I bought some earlier this week. Will add a dab to the fronts next time I have the front wheels off as well.

After getting kabonged on the head three times by the front hood, I replaced the hood struts today. They only failed on cold mornings, but that is a sure signal. I am not really a slow learner, but it took a few days to get the parts delivered...

I need that!71eh wrote: Sat Dec 30, 2023 8:39 pm My solution to the passenger seatbelt knocking problem... I notice some people just buckle it in, or stuff it in the pillar to stop it from knocking. Trying out a different solution. The seatbelt clips into it. I added the mini Porsche crest

Added the all too important fake aluminum Gas Cap! It does look good but really useless overall but as long as we like it personally, who cares.

@C21ban I have been wanting one of those gas caps as well, have not yet popped for it.
Today I got my Frog venom rear spoiler back from the paint shop. It looks good, I want to mount it but resisting so I can let the paint dry.
Here it is mocked up.

Hey.. Yea, I always thought they looked kinda cool. The main companies that made them have all went under, which is why I made my own. I think they all got in trouble for putting Porsche model designations on them.J-Dub wrote: Fri Jan 12, 2024 3:48 pm @C21ban I have been wanting one of those gas caps as well, have not yet popped for it.

Can't wait to see how that spoiler looks!
EDIT: Just seen your picture. That looks awesome!
