Its not the age but the mileage. And when you used to do 1000 milers on a motorcycle in a very long day on backroads, it is hard on the back. Nothing like a manual.
And when this happens, I'll sell my Porsches and spend more time on the motorcycle.
First I apologize for doubling the pictures , finger ops. Hope I’m not taking over a thread or posting this on the wrong forum but a little about my SC. It is an “83 gray market car that I have owned for 17 plus years and either done or managed the work done on its evolution. The car has been disassembled, striped and repainted the gran price white is original and the painted red and blue stripes , in honor of Bruno’s racing, are painted and under the clear coat. The interior is lightweight RS. With a welded in half cage. The brakes are off a Boxster, the torsion bars are upgraded and bilstein balanced the shocks and struts to the stiffer torsion bars. Front and rear adjustable sway bars and an adjustable brake bias valve. Now the good part it has a Guard modern mechanical rear differential and the 915 tranny is rebuilt with a WEVO shifter and machined linkage bushings. The engine is stroked to 3.2 balanced and polished the flywheel significantly lightened. The CIS injection is replaced with 46mm PMO carbs and on a very stingy Dino she puts out 225+ hp at the rear wheels A TRUE BLAST TO DRIVE and I do every week
Sorry for the length …. See I may be 82 but I haven’t grown up yet

not to worry. We’re 77 here and have had two hip replacement surgeries. My wife drives also and she’s 73. It’s a 991.2 T. Loads of fun for both of us. Have had 911s since ‘84.
