Yeah, I'll be doing that, plus wheel bags and tie-downs. I wanted to be sure it fit, so no last-minute changes of plan.71eh wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2024 7:23 am Wow, Nice work!
You might already be doing this, but might want to put a towel or something down over the "metal" engine cover... it's almost as thin as tin-foil and dents super easy ha.
What did you do with your 718 this week?

Wonder if it is wort it to remove the rear cover for a few days while you are on your biking trip just to eliminate the risk of scratching, it may also give you just that much more room.

I just got mine too… thanks @Larry C!ReidMcT wrote: Tue Jun 04, 2024 10:18 am Added logo decal to PCM card door - thanks, @Larry C! I thought about just painting the existing engraved letters that are visible in the photo, but the decal was easier, albeit substantially larger.
I also installed Brembo ceramic brake pads to reduce dust. [no pics]

So what’s the trick to installing this? When I try to peel off the backing, the lettering sticks to it.
Shouldn’t it stick to the face covering first?

You need to use something like a credit card and run it over it a few times prior to peeling it off... Its transfer paper.JDSPYDER wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2024 9:20 amI just got mine too… thanks @Larry C!ReidMcT wrote: Tue Jun 04, 2024 10:18 am Added logo decal to PCM card door - thanks, @Larry C! Easy Peasy… I’ll post some pics.
Also of the *bonus* Porsche decal that was included.
So what’s the trick to posting pics here?
Do I have to lower the resolution first? (I tried the other day and it didn’t want to load).

Here is a guide I did a while back showing how to post pictures. You do not need to reduce the resolution/size, but is appreciated if your files are super big. The one thing that can trip people up is trying to post pics in the iPhone HEIC format. That's not a carpokes thing, per se, but a browser issue. Most of the popular browsers don't support HEIC pictures, so they just don't work (be if on Carpokes or any other forum).JDSPYDER wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2024 9:46 am Easy Peasy… I’ll post some pics.

Here's the guide to posting pictures on Carpokes. Easy once you get the hang of it:

Once you figure it out, I will add your picture to the main decal thread Larry and I started. Cant' wait to see it!JDSPYDER wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2024 9:46 am Easy Peasy… I’ll post some pics.
