I did not make any changes to my build just to avoid any delivery delays on my account. Porsche must still be having supply shortages and/or COVID related labor issues.
Maybe your SA will be able to find out if there's something in particular in your build that is causing the delay.

When I placed my Taycan order I went with high gloss black on the exterior and when they submitted the build to Porsche they said that the rear wiper in high gloss black had a 3 month delay on it so I decided the wiper could be matt black.
Crazy to think the wiper out of all the options would be the one to cause the delay.
That's very interesting. I will ask my SA. Thanks.
Heard back from my SA. "No indication of any option delaying the build."

Well, on the upside, it's worth the wait. :!: When I ordered mine toward the end of 2020, they told me May (or June) and I ended up getting it in March, so I'm thinking they just aren't very good at predicting when cars will be ready it light of everything going on in the world. Here's hoping they beat their latest guesstimate on your car....

Thanks Tom. Doing my best to remain patient. I'm keeping myself occupied and will be prepared with my Tach and Sport Chrono Bezels, and Ed's EdGuards, inner door sills and seat belt retaining rings, and some other goodies.

Will certainly post any further changes.

Absolutely worth the wait. I got all caught up in TYD the first time I ordered a 992 back in August 2019. I even built myself a countdown clock that I hacked together taking a feed from the TYD site automatically after I figured out how their back end web services worked.

This time I told myself that I would be like "when it comes, it comes" but I fell right back in to constantly tracking and I have 2 cars this time (which I'm so grateful to be in the position to be able to do). Last time I was totally spoiled as I ordered late August 2019 and took delivery mid November 2019.

I ordered Ed's EdGuards and the seat belt retaining rings too. We can both stare at them when we get them and imagine the seat that goes with it arriving soon.

Hawk, do you have a picture of the EdGuards inner door sills and seat belt retaining rings, just curious as what they look like, is this a online store?
Thanks

Just heard today that my 911 GTS went into production on the 1st of February.
My TYD stopped working a couple of days ago which I've found is an indication that something has changed.
Had to reach out to my SA for an update.
