Hey everyone! Shamefully, I am here to try out the Carpokes wire trace stripe tool as I am an amateur hobbyist harness builder. Like most people I am a big fan of Porsche's, I just don't have much additional parking space living in the city of Seattle at the moment. Maybe when we get rid of my partner's Stinger.

Cars that I do have:
2011 Jetta TDI Sportwagen. It's... fine.
1991 Jeep Comanche. Primarily the reason for wanting to get better at building harnesses.

Nothing shameful about it -- welcome aboard. Porsche people are car people, and all car people are welcome. In fact, one of our most interesting threads is about a Capri restoration! We have some hidden harness-building talent on the site too (hence the tool) so you never know -- we might all learn a bit from each other. Here's the Capri...

Hey Folks. I heard about this forum just recently. Currently driving a 2015 Boxster S, but grew up in a '73 914 1.7L. Guess I just like a midengine! Looking forward to learning from all of you here.

I realized in changing my rear license plate that there were only two wood screws holding the dealer frame in place directly drilled into the bumper. Any suggestions on a better way to mount a rear license plate?

Hi Doug,
Welcome to Carpokes and thanks for joining. You’ve come to the right place! See attached link to the Carpokes Store and Tom’s no drill license plate mounts. You may want to ping Tom to see if there are ones that fit your car. I’ll also reach out to him. @Tom
Thanks,
Larry

Hello!

I wandered over from the 718 Forum, another very friendly place to be.

I’m waiting on a BGTS that’s on a boat somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s been a trying process (first world problem, I know) as TYD is essentially worthless, and serves only to cause frustration, as opposed to excitement.

Eventually, I will have a fun, fast car. I currently drive a 2020 Macan GTS. It is also a fun, fast car.

Peace.

Welcome to Carpokes. TYD is frustrating but once you take delivery of your BGTS, the delivery process will be forgotten. Tell us about your car build!
Best,
