Do you have to use a frame after mounting these, or can your mount the plate directly to the car pokes?

No frame needed. After trying way too many, I finally decided my white CA plate looked best on my white 992 without any frame.

Yes sir, you can use any of my pics. Thanks for giving us a way to protect our cars and access the tow point for track days. The license plate looks so much better on the back of the car with your mounts!

Thank you for the kind offer. I'll wear the hat at Amelia Island for the Werks Reunion and the Sebring 12 hour.

Brian

Thanks for the kind words!! That has to be my favorite picture yet of the 718 mounts. I've been meaning to update the installation instructions. Mind if I use that picture? There's a carpokes baseball cap in it for you, and some stickers.... :)

I have a different plate frame on order but I just used the dealer supplied frame for the moment. The mounts work great and I think it’s hard to tell they are there.

Massive shout out for this design. Too much angst about drilling into a fresh new rear panel has now been alleviated!!

Is it a coincidence that the license letters and numbers match your exterior paint?🤙🏻

Your car does look beautiful against the snow. You should send that photo to one of the Porsche magazines, seriously. It doesn’t get better than a Shark Blue GT4🤗
