Hi Everyone, new member from southern California here!
Admittedly never planned on buying a P-car "yet", but while waiting for another car on order I test drove and fell in love with 718 Spyder! Sunk so many hours of research across forums and videos (especially JetFuelOnly's YT series) on what I already wanted to do before even finding the car. Luck has it one showed up with 99% of the desired spec (yeah, I was refreshing CPO inventory daily) and pulled the trigger on a 2022 718 Spyder couple months ago!
Very excited to join various communities of like-minded individuals to connect and learn more.

What a great story of how you ended up with a P-car! Excellent to hear about all of your diligent research too - it pays off.gzxfia wrote: Sun Sep 08, 2024 10:13 am Hi Everyone, new member from southern California here!

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Here's a quick pic from the PPF installer/detailer (full PPF + coating). Car has under 3k miles with an "ok-ish" full front PPF already which I opted not to replace. I figured taking it to the track will ding it up good enough for me to replace it later.
Before even driving it more than a few miles I added: windschott glass, tint, seat belt matched door straps, dashcam and GT4 scoops (still have to secure them with screws later). Carpokes license plate mounts are definitely next, its plate threads are already stripped
