Hello all!

Name: Eric Elliott

Location: New York, NY and Nebraska

Current cars: '02 Porsche Boxster (purchased new, now at 100,000 miles), '64 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray convertible (purchased by my Uncle in 1965, I acquired it three years ago and it now has 306,000 miles on it)

Occupation: Web developer, and board member of the Corvair Museum of America

First Porsche: 1987 944S. I bought it in 1992 with 34,000 miles, and it was my daily driver until I sold it a few years ago, with over 200,000 miles on it. Drove it all year round in Nebraska -- it's amazing what a set of Blizzaks will do!

Here's the Vette, next to a friend's Corvair (I sold my '65 Corvair Corsa turbo convertible about 11 years ago, but I'm on the hunt for another. The Corvair is actually what led me to Porsche.)

Hardware:
First car was a ‘64 Chevy Impala SS 4-speed delivered at end of ‘63 and owned for 30 years.
First Porsche was a ‘77 911S Targa in ‘78, but a child’s car seat shortened that ownership.
More recently owned a C5, C6 and two C8 Corvettes (coupe & convertible). Great cars.
In October, took delivery of a ‘24 GT Silver 911 Targa 4 GTS. Added full body PPF just before the rains started and so far only have 117 miles on the car.
Looking forward to Spring and the next season of the Exotics at Redmond Town Center Car Show on dry Saturdays.

Welcome to CARPOKES Corsa!
Any plans of doing a Darth Vair clone? I've always liked the visuals of that custom Corvair.
For those unfamiliar with a Porsche-Corvair interactions, there was an article in Excellence regarding their comingling.

In my younger years, I was inspired by Darth Vair, and my Corvair buddies and I painted the headlight surrounds black on a lot of our Vairs as a result. I think I saw Darth Vair for sale at some point in the past few years.

Hello all!

Name: Tim Kelly

Location: Lake Geneva, WI

Current cars: 2022 Targa 4S, and on order is a 2025 718 Spyder RS (can't wait for rest, Feb. 2025 delivery!). Additionally, I own two Ford Model Ts (1917 and 1919), two Model As (1928 and 1930), a 1952 British Ferret Armoured Scout Car (possibly the oldest one in existence), and a 2023 Lexus LC500 convertible.

Occupation: Retired from a career in private equity; currently and Investor-in-Residence at the University of Chicago/Booth graduate school.

First Porsche: 1975 928 S which I traded for a 1982 928 S. Both were early Bosche Fuel Injection and difficult to repair/maintain so sold the 1982 to a friend who still enjoys it.
