I'm posting here to introduce myself since I just joined. I'm a long time Porsche owner. Bought my first Porsche, a 1998 993 C2S 27 years ago on December 29th, 1997 which is half a lifetime for me. I've added a 997.2 GT3 and 991.1 GT3 RS to the garage since then and I daily drive a 2020 Macan S which is fantastic as well. I'm happy to be a resource to anyone with questions about Porsche ownership or anything else.

Rich in Palm City Florida and also in Bolton CT. Past Porsches: 1955 Speedster, 1963 Normal, 1986 911, 2007 Cayman, and a Speedster replica. Currently have 2023 C8, 1929 Ford Roadster hot rod and 2017 VW GTI modified by Grassroots Motorsports for track duty. Also currently experiencing seller's remorse regarding all sold Porsches and contemplating rejoining the P car ownership group once again.

Welcome, RBGUZZI! "Porsche Seller Remorse"...Boy, can I relate to that! I regret having sold ALL my previous Porsches! There is an old (apocryphal) saying in German, "Wir werden zu früh alt und zu spät schlau!" ("We grow too soon old and too late smart!") Sounds like you have quite a remarkable stable of P-cars, still! Although I am a die-hard 914 fan (as an "Entry-Level Human") and have always loved the earlier (original Porsches), I must admit the lovely Cayman-S design is a stunner! Wish I could justify one to Madam Chairperson, but... Best for the New Year!

Contemplating getting another P Car , this is the right place for you to get help for your Stuttgart Speedster lust. We will give you a zillion reasons why you need to fulfill your consuming remorse and of course you could always sell that GM product, ha. I noted your comment on the Grassroots Motorsports VW and wondering if you are also autocrossing the little beastie? We are getting more and more Trackrats on Carpokes , so I will welcome that part of your automotive psyche also!

New member just saying hi. Two year owner of a black ‘87 NA 944 with some fun mods (euro bumpers, 924 turbo front valence, 968 wing, 968 door cards, Saratoga top, lowered, I could go on and on but won’t bore you all). It’s currently in hibernation up here in the Northeast until we thaw out in the spring!
