Please share, with your fellow Carpokes’ members, what you did with your 991 or 992 this week. It could be a new modification, a track day, or even an easy cruise to your favorite picnic spot. As always, photos are welcome!

I posted about it last night, but I'm trying to figure out how to de-rattle my rearview mirror. I doesn't rattle normally, but there is one mountain road near me where I guess the vibration frequency is just right (wrong) and it will buzz. If anyone has tips, I'm all ears. I want to get Krytox in there somehow...

Spring service week..I schedule my cars on successive days so I can do the delivery /pickup easily..Panamera Monday, Cayenne Tue, 991RS Wed, 997 Thu and have to wait for the 992 to go in Monday due t long weekend.

The 991 needed new PS Cup2s which are not cheap , 325s are not the narrowest tires out there:)....... 991 all done

Re Tom's rattle issue, I've not noticed any rearview mirror rattles in mine - the mount and mirror are well secured which would seem to be key. However, will look more closely and see if any areas of potential looseness.

Regarding the 992 - about all I've done the past week is glance at it in the garage while walking past. It's happily connected to its lithium Ctek. I do talk to it on occasion and yes, it is asking to be driven, but track days in the GT4 and too many spring gotta-dos have taken over. :problem:

I make a point of driving mine on mundane errands just to keep it alert. I have 3 or 4 routine outings where I can park it without risk of dings -- I take the pick-up everywhere else.

Had some expensive wrinkles on shipping it back from the Ring trip. Missed the boat and was stored for a while in Rotterdam, arriving back in December. However, would not start. As the shipper required car to be almost empty to ship , the fuel separated and there was water in the engine. Thus a full clean, new spark plugs and other stuff before it went to winter storage. I had it checked by my local dealer before storage and immediately after storage this week. All good. Thinking about getting additional rims with the new PS Michelin wet/cold tires designed especially for the car...

Hmmm, I am really starting to appreciate my cataract surgery as the last two cars are so damn good looking I am having a severe case of car lust. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and I be holding a new set of lenses in my skull's eye sockets!

Wow!
