Nice! Welcome to Carpokes!!Cosine_ wrote: Tue Sep 23, 2025 12:10 pm Hello from Chicagoland.
Looks like a really nice forum. I've owned an '87 951 for nearly 30 years. Hasen't been on the road for the last 20 years, awaiting teenagers to become non-teenagers (tempting cars not needed in that equation) and also the associated additional time/funds to get it road worthy again. That time as finally come!
I have an automotive engineering and a racing background. Looking forward to the collaboration here.

I’m in Chicago/Southwest Michigan during the summer months and in Florida for the rest of the year. Here’s my 2025 Cayman GTS 4.0. Looking forward to the forum.
Thanks, Dan

Hi there Pat - wow! Interesting EV build, for sure. Is there another EV 914 around? (I doubt it!)pek771 wrote: Tue Sep 23, 2025 3:20 pm Hi:
I’m Pat. Got a 914; sat on Jack stands for 39 years in Arizona. I left the 1.7 there, and converted it to Hyper9 with 7 Tesla ModelS battery modules.
It hauls ass.
