Well like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ still, the front needs all the work still. But small improvement, the rear was a little bouncy, running a pair of rusty KYBs likely put on 20 years ago.

Well, some updates here. I'm a week out from driving up to my parents to use their garage/lift to finish my suspension rebuild.
I think the last I posted, I had decided to go with Ground Control adjustable upper mounts and coil overs... well that was a BUST! My advice if you want to use Ground Control, build your suspension around their parts... Their threaded sleeve for the 944 is at the "minimum wall thickness" and assumes that are either running bottom bolted Koni, or your welds are damn beautiful... which mine are not
Not a knock on Ground Control, but I DID mention that my welds were beefy and sent them photos... so be mindful when working with them I suppose...
On top of that- I already have KLA strut braces in my car and using the OEM springs with the Ground Control top mounts, requires "top mounted" version, which will NOT work with any strut brace but the ground control version...
With that said, I do love KLA's products and should have just gone with them for my top mounts all along. I ordered a pair and my OEM springs are being powder coated yellow as we speak.
In the end, with all new hardware from 944online- Im at $2250 for front and rear. This comes in under the kits sold by Paragon, etc. and I would argue comprises a more thoughtful combination of components.
I really appreciate everyone's input and guidance along the way! I'll post pictures of assembled struts and during install.
Also, I'll be using this shop near my parents to perform the alignment- I'll let you know how that goes.

The struts are assembled! What a bear that was, I nearly stripped the one allen socket on the shock trying to torque it down.

Well, didn't end up finishing yesterday, decided to join my family at their practice session. Spent all day filling/swapping tires, checking temps, etc.
But we did finish up today...
We ended up just doing the alignment at our shop. After my stepdad realized it wasn't any more complicated than his race cars.
It was a great opportunity to learn how to do the alignment with some manual gauges. End up with -0.9 Camber, 3.8 Caster, and 1/16th toe.
Want an improvement. Car is stiff AF and the caster improved my manual steering as well. Im going to spend most of tomorrow driving around so I can shake out any issues before I head by to NY on Tuesday.
Consider this the end of my thread for now. Appreciate all of the input and guidance from the Carpokes community.

I actually live in NYC. Most of the time I work on the car on the street- but something like this, where I need time, safety, a press, etc. I load up my tools and parts and drive the 6 hours to my parents house and use their shop lift. It's nice because it forces me to drive the car a good distance and shake out any additional problems on the way. I'll take some photos as I test drive the car around Maine today. I love the color of your car and those burgandy cloth seats match well.
That's a cool bridge and wonderful views of that small harbor.
My wife and I ventured up that way a few years back. We drove up from RI, up past Bar Harbor and back. Took about a week or so. Wonderful trip.
