991 Drive Mode Dial Cover

Great question! Yes the knob is a Matt/flat black but on my carerra t the interior trim is all gloss black. I think the gloss would be subtle compared to the red.

I really need an ejector seat in my car.

Works great! Sometimes I’m tempted to use it on the misses…but I practice self restraint.

If you'd like a 991 mode dial cover like the one shown below, please make your request in this thread. Please be sure to include what color you want. Red and yellow will get done the quickest, but I'll do my best to acommodate other color requests.

For those who asked for a sports chrono bezel, I don't have one available yet for this car. I need to get my hands on that gauge and the surrounding plastic to model it, but haven't been able to find one yet. So, if anyone knows where I could get that, let me know!

That would be amazing! Do you have the surrounding dash plastic? The challenge with that bezel is getting it to both grip onto the existing bezel, but also clear the surrounding plastic. With the 992/Taycan bezel, the bezel cover is just symmetric ring, but on the 718/991 it looks like I'll need to contour it to clear the hood. There's an aftermarket part floating around but I've hesitated getting that because there's no guarantee a part I make for that will fit the factory version.... Having the real parts in hand would be huge. Feel free to PM me.

I had a busy week dealing with other things, but managed to get out 7 or 8 covers. Planning to paint more this weekend, and will just echo Larry's comment. These covers are the same as the 718 covers, and there's a pretty good list waiting for these on that board too. All other things equal, I will send these pretty much in the order of post count here on carpokes. If you have not sent me a PM with your shipping address, please do. If you have problems with that, be aware that you need 3 posts to send PMs.

Please don't send your address via email, FB messenger, other social media, text, etc. It's just too hard to me to track down all the addresses if they are spread out over multiple channels like that.
