Yesterday I extended my CTEK battery connection under the hood/bonnet to make it oh so very slightly easier to connect for overnight trickles,
it wasn’t necessary but my brain insisted on getting it done

Tested out my new sway bars today on the track, they are great. The car does not need to take a set into the corner now, it can just turn.
I also go to learn what it feels like with no front sway bar as my home brew front sway bar link broke. The car was very loose mid corner and the back kept stepping out, just like what the basic sway bar theory says should happen. Tarett links ordered and on the way.

Well, except for the home brew sway bar link customization - I kind of had the thought that the temp fix might not work out (as I know you did too ) when you described the shortening fix. The Tarett's will do the job!

Modified and zip tied on lower air ducts/brake cooling ducts to my GTS lower control arms... taking inspiration from Tim above.
Swapped on my track tires as I have a unexpected track day tomorrow. First time out with the GT4 sway bars, starting with full soft in the front and full stiff in the rear.
That would be a great stand-alone post with pics and how-to info. Other than the new member welcome, I believe this is the longest thread on the site, which is awesome, but also makes finding gems like this harder.

I've thought the same many times but we just keep on adding to the thread willy nilly, myself included! Lol.
It's kind of cool in many ways - a great train of thought log - but finding stuff that others might find interesting and/or helpful is a challenge - it is a very long thread! There are a lot of gems in here as you said but not sure that others realize that. Search works but it only goes so far, and with this wide open of a thread, who would look?
I've considered splitting out posts into a few new threads with more focused topics while keeping the original posts intact here, but then I came to my senses after realizing the amount of time an undertaking of that nature would take. Maybe I can take on that task when they put me in an asylum and I have more time on my hands ..........

Been dealing with some health issues for the last two months since I purchased the car in January. Finally got to drive the CGTS today. It has 300+ miles on it. Working to complete break in miles. Installed SunCoast interior bits in it before my beautiful drive in the Sierra Nevada mountains today. PDK is so fast compared to my manual BGTS. Never owned one before. Cayman GTS is very capable in stock form.
Also pulled the trigger on the Kline exhaust for the BGTS. Already have the M Coder ready to go so I can eliminate the exhaust valve logic.

I wish my wife would let my garage look like yours. Not all your mods are my cup of tea, but I can appreciate your passion and overall build. I bet that's a mean CGTS
