This week I installed Tarett front anti-sway bar end links and spent some time trying them at different lengths till I found what length I like best. I went to the Tarett links because I could not find stock links off of a different model that were 7" ball end to ball end that would work on a non GT4 with a GT4 front sway bar. My home brew solution ultimately failed at the track, though that was a great learning opportunity.

Just dropped of my track wheels at the tire shop as a new set of RE71RS were delivered.

The last two weekends have been full of VW shows and cruises, open houses etc. I have put more miles on my 57 beetle in the last two weekends than the last 6 months. Nice!

I identify with that statement. The Cayman is so much better than I had expected. As easy and fun to work on as a beetle but as fast as a, looks around and ducks, a 911. Not the sound of an R32 but still a good sound, especially with OAPs.

Looks good. I fear I dropped the ball on your faux carbon fiber license plate mounts. If you are still interested, let me know. I'm thinking Carpokes should 'sponsor' you car with a free set if you're willing to wear a discreet Carpokes window sticker. :)

Since buying my '17 BS a few months ago, I've felt the black roof was not quite right. I got lucky when a member of the 718 forum offered up his used roof, having done a red - black swap a couple years prior.

I can turn wrenches, but handling, fitting, and gluing fabric is beyond me. I was certain I'd mess it up if I tried. So, I found a local shop with a leaky roof, little English spoken, and bunch of happy Yelpers.

This nice man took 7 hours and $800 on a stormy Saturday to transform my car.

I'm super-happy; I think this is the best roof color to go with my matte GT Silver over (early version) Burgundy/Black interior.
