Pamela driving 2024 911Carrera4S Cab Silver/Black top & 2021 Panamera 4S Midnight Blue.
Passion for Porsche. Started driving the Panamera as no other sedan called to me. Drove both for business BMW & MBZ. Since my 911 only needed to be in the shop for maintenance, decided why not give the sedan a try. Absolutely love it. Didn't think I would. So there you have it Porsche you stole my heart again.

Thanks, looking forward to Porsche chats as I am Porsche Passionate!
Welcome aboard! Porsches have a way of doing that to people! You're in good company.

Hello from snowy Montreal, Quebec....
Waiting impatiently for Spring!
First Porsche 2 years ago was a 2012 911 Carrera 4, manual coupe.
I changed the original Turbo II wheels for some HRE, Swapped in a Macan steering wheel, added a BFI weighted shifter and a 991 front lip, using the Emv2 kit.
Also have a collection of Miatas, 8 of them now, but will get it down to a more manageable 4 this Summer to make some space for a 987 Boxster!
Cheers,
Ben

@Wonder
Barcelona is a beautiful city, wonderful food, friendly people.
I visited there about 15 years ago and still think about it all the time. There should be some great roads around there to exercise your 944!
Welcome to CARPOKES, lots of very knowledgeable 944 members, should you have any questions and thank you for joining.
Thanks for your welcome ROB III, you are right about Barcelona 15 years ago, unfortunately not the same now, much more criminality and unsafe areas i n the city center, but still visitable if taking some precautions. Apart from this, we are not allowed to drive our "polluting machines" weekdays from 7 AM to 8 PM, a complete disaster for motor enthusiasts.

@benlavigne
You must have access to a great storage facility or the pictured garage has a lift to several below grade floors as 8 Miata's take up some space!
I've known several Miata owners that have transitioned to Boxster's, and I'm glad to see you are also sampling more traditional Porsche dynamics with your 911.
Welcome to CARPOKES and thank you for joining.

Glad to have another Midwesterner here, Patton, and if you ever run over at Autobahn CC we may see each other there----- with cars on track saying I hope to run into you just doesn't have a good ring to it, ha!
Ben, dang I thought I was rocking it with 6 Miatas over the years though 3 were Spec Miatas. The tiny beasts do make great little race cars and a Cayman or Boxster have a similar tossibility that makes the MX5 a fun track/autocross machine. I love that I can drive my Cayman GTS with abandon over every curb and get a bit of air exactly like a Miata, but with more power and speed!

Welcome to the land of CARPOKEANS!
Always glad to see another 944 owner here.
If you are new to (or not) the 944 world, be sure to check out the 944 Handbook on the opening header for the CARPOKES site. Our leader and creator of this friendly and supportive site just recently put that together.
Don't forget to check out the other transaxle groupings and perhaps sample the other threads for possible future experiences.
Thank you for joining!
