Looking good! I guess you don't need the central fuse box -- just stand-alone harness and hand-wired bare essentials?

Yes, all stick wiring is gone. Stand alone and AIM race dashboard. Rewire the brake lights and fuel tank level, everything else is run by the Link engine management system.

and its away from the heat! also blocks off the cabin when the HVAC stuff used to be. The round hole is for a 47 pin harness connector.

Hey Chris,
Which Metabo grinder are you using? Which discs?
Thanks,

I love the W-11-125, made to last and the quick change is perfect for impatient people like me!
I have used everything from typical cut off wheels to wire wheels, paint remover wheels, scotch bite discs and sanding discs. It will spin anything and not complain. Its also reasonably light and easy to handle. I don't recommend using bigger wheels with it - I had a skinny 6" wire wheel to get into narrow spaces, too much RPMs and it bounded back on my hand.....still healing!
I have gotten into the habit of getting expendable supply's through Amazon, easy to order and cheap. I'm out in the country and spending hours to chase $2 supplies is not useful!

BTW - there are 'fake' Metabo's out there. if its less than around $150 its a knock off!

I discovered this week that the power cord on both my cut off tool and grinder are frayed where it comes out of the tool. In both cases, the outer sheath/cover is all torn up and the little wires inside are clearly visible. They cost $15 to $20 each at Harbor Freight maybe 5 -10 years ago, so you'd think for that kind of premium price they would have lasted longer. :silent:

After watching Edd China on YouTube, I want to replace them both with cordless versions of some kind... Maybe Dewalt so I don't need to ramp up on another battery/recharger system. Or is there a go-to cordless I should know about?
