I’ve had the Zunsport grills on my Cayman GTS 4.0 for over a year. The installation took several minutes and they look great. Unfortunately, the front center grill has a lot of back and forth play, allowing debris and leaves to accumulate behind the grill.

Has anyone found a fix to secure the front grill to prevent the back and forth movement? Any ideas in the @Tom back of tricks?

I'd need to see it. Can you post pictures or a video showing what it's doing?

I used 1 black zip tie on each end of the center grill. Tricky to do, but it has worked.

What do the zip ties attach to and how does that affect movement in the middle of the grill?

My mistake Larry, I did that on the outer grills. The center is compression fit that I have had no problem with, surprisingly.

@Southbama

If you push the bottom center, doesn’t it have around 1-2 inches of play? After 6 months I pulled off the center grill and there was quite a bit of leaves and road debris behind the grill and near the radiator. Others have reported this same issue on 718Forum.

If you PM me your cell I can text you a video I just took this morning or just send me a text at 1 (310) 383-5559 and I will respond with the video. Maybe I did the installation wrong

Here is a video from Larry showing the issue he describes.... Looks like the grill just isn't stiff enough to avoid deflection in the middle like that, so needs something in the middle to hold or reinforce it?

@Tom thanks or posting video. I may try some 3M foam grill tape on a few inches where the grill hits the horizontal lip.

Larry, maybe remove the grill and place this molding as a backer to prevent deflection.
