Thanks for posting that. I noticed the change yesterday when looking at someone else's build and my first thought was that the site was in error or that my browser was somehow interfering.sliksunny wrote: Mon Jan 23, 2023 6:23 am https://www.autoblog.com/2023/01/20/por ... sh-is-out/

Seems as though Porsche would have put up a temp banner upon entering the new Configurator promoting the change. That would have accomplished a number of things.

I don't like how the configurator takes over my Carpokes thread. I would think it would click to another browser destination?
I know too well how to build a Porsche from the factory.

Huh? Not understanding your post. The configurator from Porsche has nothing to do with Carpokes.911R wrote: Wed Jan 25, 2023 4:55 pm I don't like how the configurator takes over my Carpokes thread. I would think it would click to another browser destination?

Tim,
I clicked on the above link which didn't send me to another separate browser message. It replaced my Carpokes browser place.
Just saying as I am no computer expert and no big deal.

Got it Doc.
Not sure what browser you're using but this should work for most common and modern browsers so please give it a try.
Right click on the link and see if the drop down menu offers you the option to open the link in a new tab. (You will have other options as well, depending on the browser, such as opening the link in a new window, a new private window, etc.)
That way you can have both Carpokes and the configurator (or whatever else you choose) open at the same time. You can open even more websites as desired. (I keep a half dozen windows open simultaneously, each with multiple tabs. I over do it!)
