It will go to auction in mid August. Let me know in interim if interested.
That is a beautiful G-bodied Targa. Have this '76 Targa custom myself. Never thought I would do a Targa project but there it is. How did you do with the sale of yours?
. Used to think I would never get my money out of it but I don't think that will be a problem with the prices these cars are now getting to. Mine's all new from one end to the other. The RSR 9" and 11", 15" diam Fuchs are almost priceless ($12k for a single rear or $26.5k for the set from MS Road and Race!). Tires just became available for them! Spent a small fortune on the 2.7 when I could have just stuffed a 993 engine in it instead but it has a beautiful roar through the dual-in dual-out muffler at the end of the SSI stainless exhaust. The CIS runs flawless but as a show car it should have the fake carbs fuel-injection with velocity stakes to "Look Cool" (expensive upgrade to just look cool). These old Targa's are not really rigid enough for a major HP increase so I really just wanted a custom show cruiser and that's what it is. Around 2535 lbs, I think with about 190 HP with exhaust and I think we went with a little hotter cams - I forget now without checking. It hasn't been dyno'ed but I probably should check it. Gotta stand on those non-power assist brakes to stop it and the non-power steering gives you a workout putting in into the basement garage but otherwise like a fast go kart. Hope you found a Porsche for the family. We have a '21 Taycan 4S and I love it. It is a fun car to drive and fits 5 comfortably.
. Anybody who doesn't think this is a Porsche needs to drive one! The view out that front window is like looking out of a 908 or 910 and the performance is awesome. I love it! The photo is of the Turbo S but ours looks just like that.

Just getting caught up here - Brownie sold in late September. Did just fine in the sale - I was happy and the new owner as well. I purchased a 2011 C4S coupe in Macadamia Brown over full Cocoa leather a few weeks later.

Here is the new car in the new shop. With the 18” Carrera Classic wheels with same offsets as the 19” Premium Turbo II’s that came on it with summer
PS4S tires. I like the Conti Extreme Contact DWS 6+ all-seasons, and couldn’t find the latter in 19” with comparable diameters… The 18’s are a touch more compliant, as you can read about elsewhere. Very pleased with the winter set swap. New pads and brake flush, and it’s ready for winter (such as we get in mid-Missouri these days)…
