Is there a replacement fog light or aftermarket cover/panel that fits in the fog light location? It's for an 87 turbo with the larger glass lens. Yes, mine got hit by a rock and it broke the lens. Replacements are hard to find lately. Any tips or help would be appreciated.

Hi Dave W.

I have the same problem. I have a 1991 944 S2 coupe. They use the same fog lights. Mine is the left side lens.
I tried to buy a new lens from Sierra Madre Collection out in California July 9th. $380.00 Ouch!
They kept telling me "should be in end of week" Just canceled that order. I'm back to looking myself.
You're right, very difficult to find used.

I'm wonder if they could be 3D printed in clear resin? I'll take a look at mine....

I originally placed an order with Auto Atlanta. They said they can't get one.

I just called Porsche of Fremont. They say it's on backorder, no ETA yet. Current price for a new lens/reflector is $418 as of today. They say to just keep checking back to see if they become available, maybe call back in a couple months. Naturally, the price may change by then.

At this point a 3D printed cover in plain black plastic would be acceptable. I can easily find vinyl wrap in matching body color to apply on top of a cover. That would look better than a broken glass lens.

Let me see if it will fit in my resin printer. Oh, and I need to model it too, unless anyone can point to a CAD model of it? The clear resin can look as clear as you need it, and no harder to print than anything else in resin. I did the tubes in my flux capacitor with clear resin...

I did some digging last time this came up and found these:
https://www.airplex.co.nz/product/1687- ... clear-pair
Made in NZ so unclear (no pun intended) as to whether the price is NZ or US funds.
Don't know about quality, fit, etc., just a possible option as I know the lenses are crazy expensive if you can find new. They come up on Evil Bay sometimes, but still expen$ive.

Just an FYI some additional info with left/right part numbers.
https://www.design911.co.uk/p/fog-lamp- ... s2---944t/
Design 911 shows backordered with no ETA as several other sites state the same thing.

It will be NZD. Goods & Sevices Tax (GST) is 15% which you guys wouldn't have to pay so these would be approx $59 USD plus shipping.

Glad there's a solution. I looked and they are way too big for my resin printer!
