Re: Throttle plate gap question
A most helpful source of web advice for our cars comes from YouTuber NCP44er. One such video involves rebuilding the throttle body. And while it would be best to ask the poster rather than rely on this reply, I'd have to say that I don't see a gap at all around the plate.

Re: I think I'm in love...
I have plenty of phone dials but these might turn a few heads and do a double-take.
And thank you to the individual who added the specs. The AR bolt pattern is 5 X 110.

I think I'm in love...
... with these wheels. Of course, I have no idea if they would fit on an '87 924s.
I saw them in Porto, Portugal. They were on an Alpha Romeo 159.

Re: Engine mounts
I've often wondered why - when the car is cold - putting the gear lever into the reverse position results in the shifter hitting the edge of the gear shift cutout. After the car has been warmed up, I presume expansion in the mount has occurred and hitting the side doesn't seem to be the case any ...

Re: Welcome to the Carpokes Racing Sub-Forum!
I guess the reason "Miss Pink Piggy" didn't resonate with ME is that it reminds me a little too much of the Iron Dames livery. (probably just the color)
I absolutely love and admire the Iron Dames, but for me, it just doesn't translate to the 944.
I wasn't familiar with the Iron Dames so I had ...

Re: Welcome to the Carpokes Racing Sub-Forum!
Thanks everyone for the recommendations and suggestions. Having said that, I'm a wee bit disappointed that a horror-struck Miss Pink Piggy didn't at least get an honourable mention. I suppose that's because of the potential for the indelible impact it could have on little kids...but I've always been ...
