Re: VE Values Low at Idle - Standalone
I’m using a fuel pressure sensor. In theory the standalone reads actual fuel pressure and compensates accordingly. I’m also using the built in injector configurations for my Siemens injectors, which means the standalone deals with deadtimes.
But after your suggestion I’ll switch everything back ...

Re: VE Values Low at Idle - Standalone
That does seem low. Are your injector compensation values correct? I wouldn't be surprised if they're quite a bit high.

Re: Fuel Lines at Tank AN fitting
Here are my notes from an estwhile wiki project:
These lines are in the rear, by the gas tank. One runs between the tank and the pump, and one between the pump and the outgoing hard line. They're kinda expensive to replace, and also need to be modified (or replaced) for aftermarket filters/pumps ...

Re: Navigating a sleeve job on my 86 951...
If you're in Portland, you have easy access to Bearing Services. They did my block a couple years ago, and I cannot say enough good about them - You also may not need to sleeve anything. They're capable (or were) of refinishing Alusil properly. If that's not who you're already considering, it may be ...

Re: M030 Insert Help Please
For what it's worth, with KWs I found that there are readily available spacers (60mm spring ID is very common, KW even make their own) in sizes from like 5mm up to 30mm or so (like this ). I was set on using them, but eventually got fed up with the binding of the coils on the Racer's Edge camber ...

60mm (KW and other aftermarket) spring bearing adapters
My KW v3 suspension is great, but it assumes you have either the KW or the stock top hats, and one of the issues with some aftermarket camber plates (like Racer's Edge) is that the decoupling of the spring from the chassis isn't...really preserved at all.

Re: New PnP ECU option: ClassicECU Speeduino - build/learning thread
@four0four, just confirming, you're talking about trying to run the pre-turbo wideband? Thanks for the catch, I had assume the pre-turbo sensor was calibrated to the additional heat and pressure, but didn't realize how sensitive the readings are to pressure. I don't see anywhere in TS to set up a ...

Re: New PnP ECU option: ClassicECU Speeduino - build/learning thread
It doesn't look like the WBO controller supports it, and I didn't see you mention it (does Speeduino?) but even though the that sensor is designed for pre-turbo use, it still requires correction for the pressure. Post-turbo (assuming you don't see much more over 20 kpa or so) error is <= 10%. Pre ...

Re: Adding cam sync to VEMS plug-n-play
I added it because I have strange compulsions :)
I actually wanted to tinker with fuel injection angle, so kinda? And I wanted knock gains to make sense rather than be 50% completely incorrect. IIRC the DME didn't even do batch fire, so this is still an upgrade! But now that I think of it, I ...

Re: Adding cam sync to VEMS plug-n-play
So it's been... about a year longer than I thought since I messed with this
But I was playing around this weekend in the garage and decided to debug this a little more without checking my old notes, and it, uh, basically worked immediately.
