I have this option and tried once for parallel parking when I had the car new. The car did well. I was more worried sitting inside looking at the camera.

This does look like a decent alternate option to pro clip. I keep my phone on the cup holder or in the storage space behind the center screen. Agree there is no good space to put the phone.

No idea. Sorry you are having issues with PCM. Have you tried performing hard reset? It might help or just ask your SA to look into it.

I think the update reset what the system "learned" about my driving, so I'm waiting to see what it does here in the short term after driving a bit. Haven't really gone anywhere lately, but going on a road ...

I took my car for SW update and got it back this evening. Drove about 50 miles and so far so good. Similar to @vdr , i had 1 more open campaign to fix the alarm issue and they didnt have parts in stock. I was told my SA the parts are in back order, dont have timeline when they will get it.
