Hi, Tom! I’m not in any hurry. Just let me know when the CNC’d version is ready! My car is a 991.1 turbo.Tom wrote: Sat Sep 04, 2021 6:51 pm Chulander -- Awesome! Thank you for posting! Looking great on your car! No need to let it sit overnight, but no harm either....![]()
Need4Spd -- I could 3D print you a set now, or in the next month or so, we should have a CNC'd version that fits both the 991 and 991.... Your choice!
lougin -- not sure I ever did mounts for the 981, though I seem to recall folks using the 991 version. If you wanted to take a picture of where your license plate mounts, I can probably tell you what would/wouldn't work....

Will do, and keep your eyes open here -- I'll start a new thread when they are ready. My hope is to do a mount that fit the 981, 991.1 and.2, and the 992 (including new GT3). Those cars all have the raised ridge/outline, requiring relief grooves in the mount. I'll get those going as soon as I have enough of the 718 mounts to keep up for a while -- by the end of the month I hope.Need4Spd wrote: Tue Sep 07, 2021 9:07 amHi, Tom! I’m not in any hurry. They are popular here on Carpokes. If you want a set, let me know.

New user here, I was referred by Mitch on our little Seattle 912 group. I’ll be ordering a set of these for my Gentian Blue GT4 as soon as I hit the post count.
Thanks!

Another happy customer, the mounts are great! So satisfying to tighten machined screws instead of going through the plastic bumper. Great service by Tom as well.

Hey @Tom and others. Yes, I'm here! Taa-daa! (from Renn). My CGTS4.0 is on order so I MUST start collecting parts for it. I didn't realize the dealer has to make holes in the rear bumper too in order to mount plates! I don't know of any other car, EVER, that didn't have some sort of a nut mounted for the rear plate.
SO I NEED THIS! ASAP! Because my car will be here on 12/31 (if I'm lucky).
I'll email you, Tom, since I read that I can't PM for a few posts yet.
Thanks again.
