Welcome RW and Gene, so cool to get a few more Motorsports Enthusiasts on here and I have to admit my upbringing was similar to yours RW, though I was going to Hillclimb Races in Germany at a young age. I look forward to seeing some pics/videos of your track experiences ( past ones would be cool too ) coming up and glad you found Carpokes. Gene, you are a very mean man, I thought I was all done with the mods on my 718 GTS and then you post pictures of your Killer Cayman ---- that is a Croc that Corvettes will shudder when they see it, haha!

thank you so much! in regards to that forum just a handful of people had to be reprimanded for things said and that it violated their rules. they don't like what i did to the Cayman so you know how that goes. As far as the garage I do have a video you can watch that goes over everything I did. It's my Dream Garage!Tom wrote: Fri Mar 14, 2025 8:15 amlsturbointeg wrote: Fri Mar 14, 2025 12:02 am Hey fam! New here! came from the 718forum and decided to find a more friendly environment that doesn't judge people because of the mods they've done![]()

Current fun cars: BMW F10 535i & Porsche Cayman 718 GTS
Occupation: Pipeline Operations
I currently have a modified Porsche Cayman 718! I've had the honor of being part of the SEMA 2023 in the BlackVue Dash Cam System booth as I'm the Ambassador for them. I'm also currently sponsored by RaggDoll Motorsports as well as TAKD_CARBON from PerformanceSpeedShop. I have a YouTube channel "LSTURBOINTEG" where I create content on all the modifications to the Cayman. I also document and video all the major car events in the MidWest including SEMA! I'm also part of the MEDIA TEAM for the Rennsport Dragon Rally.
With that said i'm excited to share my build here in the CarPokes Community![]()

Really, interesting... I actually thought the 718forum was a reasonably civil place compared to many, but admittedly I don't hang out there so don't really know, what with Carpokes to run and all.Your car looks great in those pictures. When people pick on cars like that, I always think of this clip....
Awesome pictures! Welcome aboard. If that's your garage, we need to see more of it asap.![]()

I did a quickened view of your garage video - what a great looking space and set up - nice! I can see why you would call it your "Ultimate Dream"!
We have a lot of topics and sub-forums on Carpokes that I think you will find interesting. One is the "Garage Thread", so check it out and add your palace to the collection.
https://www.carpokes.com/viewtopic.php?t=16
Another spot in your wheelhouse is a an older thread regarding the Rennsport Dragon Rally that I started in the "Racing" sub (which is itself loaded with fun racing, driving and track day kinds of things).
It would be super if you added to that Dragon Rally thread since you're involved in the event - a revival of sorts to give the thread some new life, also a great help for others to find out more about that awesome event. New info, updates, photos, videos, experiences, etc. would be super!

Good to see you in here. I watched your vids a while back. Nice build - it’s a shame people can’t be happy for others when they personalize their cars. Your car looks sharp!P_Coastal wrote: Mon Mar 10, 2025 11:20 amWelcome to Carpokes Tim !twesr wrote: Mon Mar 10, 2025 11:05 am First Porsche: 1978 924, 1980 924 turbo should have not sold when the 2012 Panamera S4 was bought.

Nice to have you here too Sam. We're young enough as a forum still, that you guys can make a real impact on our culture by spreading the word to the kinds of people you want to join. We're one of the few active Porsche forums that exists solely to benefit the community and I think it shows in the kind of people we've been attracting.Sam_Flat6 wrote: Fri Mar 14, 2025 4:53 pmGood to see you in here. Greetings from Lake James NC.
Currently own 2020 GT4 and 2017 Turbo S
I live right in the middle of the region that has the best concentration of roads in the country. More than a few of those great roads have been damaged my Hurricane Helene, but crews are working hard to heal and restore this amazing part of the US.
I’m also an avid motorcyclist.

Howdy from South SF! I'm Broc.
Currently laid off (architecture and construction stuff) and I'm rediscovering a 944 project car I've been sitting on for a bit.
I followed a link leading me to Carpokes, liked the vibes so I signed right up thinking it'll come in handy as this basketcase 944 progresses. In previous lifetimes I've dabbled in some other Porsche forums, on The Samba, and incredibly remembered my VWVortex login for over 22 years
!
Rest of the garage includes a 997.1 C2, a Vanagon, and a B7 A4 for daily purposes. It's a good mix... though I don't really like the 997 with these black wheels.
