Glad to be part of this. My buddy peaked my interest years ago with his many 911’s. I have a nice 997.
Welcome aboard! We have a 997 picture thread in the link below if you are interested in posting yours.

Mostly just posting so I can download that 944 tensioner STL. It's finally time to put my 924S back on the road after 12 years and those belts are high on the priority list.
Be cool if you posted pics of your car as well
I will, eventually! She's in a sad state right now. Flat tyres, covered in dust, half the interior has been ripped out. Loads to be done, but nothing too difficult.

No worries , nice the Site can be of assistance to you. As things progress , though , you might enjoy documenting things on here as P Coastal suggested. Not necessary but it does make it fun to see the progress and others often jump in to help with concerns or friendly advice.

Totally agree with this!! A lot of times, the 'before' pictures are the most interesting! I put a lot of effort into restoring my father's old 450SL, for example, and I very much regret taking almost no before pictures. People see the car now and assume it's just been a garage queen its whole life....
Either way -- Welcome aboard Redmund!

Greetings from South Florida,
I'm new to Porsche-recently purchased a 2013 911 Carrera S Cabriolet. I love it-maybe a little too much-LOL. My wife is calling it my "mistress." It's amazing to see the Porsche badge on my steering wheel and realize I'm finally in a Porsche of my own. Very excited to immerse myself in all things Porsche. I've recently completed a couple of easy upgrades and it's exciting to feel the accomplishment of a couple DIY projects-even if they are super simple. My next venture will be to replace the driver's side power button switch. I'm getting the tools and the switch. Now I just have to watch a hundred YouTube videos, so I don't screw the job up. Any suggestion on this project will be gratefully appreciated.

Jim from Oklahoma. Drove my first 911 in 1994. I fell in love that moment. Purchased a 2003 C4S in 2005, drove it for 19 years. It was special! I ordered a new C4S in 2023 and it arrived on January 10, 2024. Haven’t been able to really enjoy it much, but what we’v’e experienced is awesome.

Love the white , but I have to admit to being biased as my wife and I have had well over 20 white vehicles ( my wife drives a white Macan S now ). The color just looks great on a 911 and the added benefit of being easy to keep clean keeps drawing one back. Keep us posted and hopefully you won't see much of a delay waiting for the mystery computer part that needs to be installed.
