Re: PCM Navigation Map Updates
There is a restriction on PCM 3 and 3.1. You can't update the map without a code and can't bypass it with PIWIS. I forgot what encryption they used.
Unfortunate, but not surprising. Worse, I suspect that Porsche might not even offer updates for the 997 maps any longer. And even if the OP ...

Re: PCM Navigation Map Updates
I have no experience with PCM 3 or 3.1. On my 996 Turbo PCM 2 required a new map from DVD. PCM 4 on 982 or 991 you can update the map with an SD card. Good luck

Re: PIWIS Coding
@718socal It still looks like a train wreck but here she is! Long way to go yet. I got a set of dampening cancellation devices so we can put air ride on it and not get suspension messages.
So now it’s just going to be getting rid of all the messages for the headlights and tail lights.

Re: PIWIS Coding
Tagging @718socal to see if he can help you. I think he can code remotely.
He needs to post pics before I can respond lol. I guess it depends which options or modules he wants to remove. Without any specifics I can't comment.
🤣 haha I’ll snap some pics this week… but trust me, she ain’t ...

Re: PIWIS Coding

Re: DSC Suspension Controller?
Maybe hit up @718socal and see if he is aware of anyone working on re-flashing the factory box.
There is no plan for us to work on this. I would still recommend the DSC controller. I had it on my car and it made the ride better. They haven’t released one for the 992. That’s why we’re flashing ...

Re: PIWIS Coding
Reviving this thread. Just coded a couple Spyder RS and have done quite a few 992 coding lately. Any questions hit me up.
Rumor has it that the GT4RS and Spyder RS have the same suspension components, yet the GT4RS is much stiffer on the road due to programming. The GT4 is stiffer by all ...
